Michael and I spent our 1 year anniversary in my favorite place, The Wind Rivers. There is no other place I would have rather been. I think this is the only time I ever let everything go and I can fully relax. I love sitting at the campfire, eating top ramen, reading, hiking, sleeping, sitting in the dirt, and spending time with some of my favorite people.

Europe

We went on a girls trip to the Mediteranian. It was a nightmare and amazing at the same time. Let me Explain.

#1- We showed up to the cruise line and they wouldn't let me sister on the boat because she was pregnant (No where on the website does it explain this). We spent hours in a closet trying to find her a way home. We finally found her a plane ride the next day, but that meant she had to stay in Barcelona on her own. We left her with the taxi cab driver and an address to a hotel. When we got to our rooms our board lady asked if there is someone else with us. We told her the story and this was her reply, "Pray for her. It is dangerous out there and she shouldn't be left alone." Of course I start freaking out and call her hotel and she never checked in. I called my mom in the US and she hadn't heard from her. Of course at this point everyone is worried and calling the Embassy. Turns out the taxi driver dropped her off at a wrong hotel.

Now for nightmare #2.

We were about to check in our bags and we were against the wall getting our stuff our of our bags. The bag order was my bag, Jaclyn's in the middle, and than Lindsay's. Jac ran to the bathroom and asked us to watch her stuff. Some guy came up to Lindsay and asked her a question in a different language and she had a feeling to grab Jac purse. We turned around and it was gone. Don't ask me how it happened because we didn't see anyone and somehow they got in between me and Lindsay. So of course we are panicking and now we can't get home. Lindsay is on the phone with the Embassy, and making hotel plans while I am searching in all the garbage cans for her bag. We had to decide who was going to stay and who was going to go home. I went home because Lindsay knew all the embassy info and hotel plans so she stayed with Jacly. Well I went home and stayed a 9 hour layover over night in the Amerstam hotel, almost missed my flight in Detroid because our plane broke down, and than they lost my luggage.
The rest of Jac and Lindsay's story is they went to the city to sleep that night and couldn't find the hotel and it was 11:00 at night. Finally they found it. They went to the embassy the next day and it was closed (even though they told us it would be open). They stayed and extra day ended up going to the Embassy the next day before it even opened and there was 12 other people waiting who's passports were stolen that Sunday. Finally they got home. So as you can see it was an amazing trip and a nightmare all in one.

Wedding Day

I didn't think a day could be more perfect. I married the most amazing man and had the most amazing day. We decided not to do a reception and to do a dinner. I'm so glad that we went with this decision. It was very intimate and I remember every moment. Thank you to all who helped us celebrate. And I have to the thank my Photographer Hayley Anderson.
